A backyard sport court at sunset in Utah, with a putting green, hammocks, and a fire pit behind it

A backyard built to be used.

This one has a full sport court, a putting green, a sauna, a cold plunge, and a fire pit. I design yards like it for homeowners across Utah, and this one is open to companies for retreats.

Design your backyard

Most yards are grass and a patio nobody sits on. I plan yards around what your family will actually do outside: shoot hoops, hit putts, sit by a fire, get in cold water at 6am. I handle the layout, the contractors, and the details that make it feel finished.

  • Sport courtsBasketball, pickleball, and multi-use courts with proper drainage, lighting, and pro-grade goals.
  • Putting greens and turfSynthetic greens that roll true, sized to the space you have.
  • Recovery and wellnessWood-fired hot tubs, saunas, and cold plunges placed where you'll use them daily.
  • Gathering spacesFire pits, hammock groves, and seating built for a crowd.

Bring your team here

Skip the hotel conference room. Book this yard for the day: run your offsite on the court, hold breakouts around the fire, and end with a sauna and cold plunge round that people talk about for months. It works for leadership teams and for full-company days in the 8 to 40 range.

  • Full-day and half-day bookingsExclusive use of the yard, court, green, and recovery setup.
  • Facilitated optionsStructured sessions on AI adoption, strategy, and team performance, or bring your own agenda.
  • Catering and setup handledMeals, shade, seating, and AV arranged for you.
  • Recovery blockA guided sauna and cold plunge session to close the day.

What's in the yard

Everything below was designed, built, and is used weekly. It's the proof of the design work and the place your team will spend the day.

How a design project runs

  1. Walk the yardAn on-site visit to talk through how you want to live outside and what the space allows.
  2. Plan and budgetA layout with the pieces prioritized, so you can build all at once or in phases.
  3. BuildI coordinate the court, turf, and wellness installers I trust and keep the project moving.
  4. Finish and useLighting, nets, seating, the details. Then you start using it.
